Kirk Wright | Executive Director
Kirk is the former CEO of The Garrett Group, a fully-integrated real estate investment management company. In his tenure with The Garrett Group, Kirk led the teams that grew the diverse portfolio from $125M to over $1.1B market value. His responsibilities included managing and directing the strategic plans and annual operations of the portfolio. Kirk structured Garret Corps organizational platform into four distinct functions: Income Property Services, Capital Management, Commercial Construction Development, and Land Entitlement/Development. Earlier in his career, Kirk served as Executive Vice President of RanCon Group, in Temecula, co-managing 12 SEC-registered fund assets and real estate valued at over $700M with over 15,000 individual investors. Kirk earned a Bachelor Associates in Political Science / Pre-Law from the University of Redlands.
John Bohannon | Director of Investor Relations and Development
For ten years John Bohannon was the chief executive officer for one of the oldest funds control and inspection companies in the United States. John managed the daily activities of the inspection services, construction management, consulting and real estate development services. John specialized in budget review analysis and expert witness testimony on the best practices for construction payments and mechanics liens. John has directed over one billion in construction capital. John graduated from the University of San Marcos with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is also a licensed General Contractor in the State of California.
Burley Wright | Director of Healthcare and Strategic Development
Burley has 10+ years of experience in business development and the healthcare sector. Burley has owned and operated multiple types of healthcare businesses and has grown each tremendously. Burley is with EPIC to focus on marketing, public relations, and as the direct oversight for all healthcare projects including the 80MM Medical Campus in Temecula. With Burley’s extensive background in growth strategies, healthcare regulations, and professional services, Burley is a great member of the team
Kevin Fox | Director of Contracting and Development
Kevin has over 21 years of extensive and multidisciplinary construction and business management experience. His experience includes 10 years of hands-on construction and 8 years of leadership, founding and managing 2 successful general contracting and engineering firms and developing and building various new construction and renovation projects.
Kevin has proven success in operations and project management as well as client relations. Coupled with the skill to effectively lead project teams of all levels and diverse backgrounds, Kevin fosters and exemplifies teamwork throughout the construction process. He identifies and implements strategic planning, reducing expenditures, maximizing profitability, and minimizing risk. He develops company and construction budgets, determining both immediate and long-term requirements to preserve assets and maintain business and building integrity. Kevin currently holds licenses in California (Class A & B), Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Colorado, Arizona, and Nevada (Class B).
Hayley Sauerwein | Administrative & Property Manager
With over 12+ years of experience in commercial and residential property management as well as project management, Hayley joined the Epic team in late 2015. Hayley is the ideal representative to oversee Epic’s property management team and with her skills in customer service and communication, we have an outstanding relationship with tenants of Epic’s and other building owners properties.
Matthew Smith | VP of Business Development & Corporate Broker
Matt has been actively licensed in the Real Estate Industry for more than 10 years and holds a Real Estate Brokers license in California and Idaho. Matt brings with him a vast amount of experience and knowledge in regards to all aspects of Commercial, Investment Property and Residential Property transactions. With his strategic ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, Matt will help Epic Management Group continue to grow, making him the perfect fit as our Designated Broker and Vice President of Business Development
